Hello world!
I am not a designer but I definitely see a similar trend in my field of choice. I am a computer science major and after college I mainly want to focus on Software Development. In the article it says “At Anthropic, engineers reoutinely spin up multiple AI coding agents and ship working features before a designer finishes exploring options in Figma. The rest goes to consulting with engineers mid-build, polishing directly in code, and setting short-range product direction.” I have found this quote to be pretty true. As everyone has access to AI, we can almost become proficient in other areas of project development. So a software developer may have input on design as they can quickly implement code and the design maybe more important. I have even done this with my own websites and apps. The frontend design is very important to make a clean app, so I may start with the frontend first using AI as my designer. Then I will continue to use AI to create the backend functionality while using my computer science knowledge to ensure that everything is working as it should. Overall Ai has made a big shift in creating different things as people can now collaborate in different areas of the project.
